Precautions for installation of commercial pressure gauges
 Aug 25, 2020|View:518

1. Before installing a commercial pressure gauge, please carefully check whether the model, specification and grade meet the ideal requirements. Then check whether the sealing is completed, whether the pointer is on the limit nail, whether the joint thread is worn and whether the air inlet is blocked. Can be installed under normal conditions.

2. When the measured medium changes sharply or is in pulsating pressure, a buffer tank or damping screw should be added, as shown in Figure 24, and an isolator should be installed when measuring crystals or high viscosity media, as shown in Figure 25.

3. When measuring the steam pressure, a ring pipe should be installed at the lower end of the pressure gauge, as shown in Figure 26. The pressure is transmitted through water to prevent high temperature steam from affecting the accuracy of steam pressure. The instrument damages the pressure gauge.

4. The loop tube used to measure other hot liquids should be filled with the same or other neutral liquid as the liquid being measured (it is required to be immiscible with the liquid being measured and cannot be replaced).

5. Commercial pressure gauges should be installed under the conditions of an ambient temperature of -40°C to 60°C and a relative humidity not greater than 80%.

6. Commercial pressure gauges should not be installed directly on the heated surfaces of nearby boilers and similar equipment. The pressure gauges installed in these positions should pass through the tee between the ring tube and the tube.

Precautions for installation of commercial pressure gauges

7. Commercial pressure gauges should be installed vertically, with an inclination not greater than 30 degrees, and strive to maintain the same horizontal position as the measuring point to avoid delays.

8. Before using the pressure gauge, please pay attention to whether the pointer is aligned with the limit nail under no load. Otherwise, it should not be used.

9. The removed pressure gauge should be stored in a dust-proof, dry, and non-corrosive environment.

10. After use, slowly reduce the pressure, do not drop the pointer suddenly, so as not to damage the pressure gauge.
