Common failure causes and diagnosis of oil pressure gaug
 Aug 27, 2020|View:584

(1) Oil pressure gauge failure reason:

1. The pressure-sensitive diaphragm of the oil pressure sensor is deformed due to excessive force.

2. Ablation and oxidation of the inner contact surface of the oil pressure sensor.

3. Poor contact of the connecting wire.

(2) oil pressure gauge fault diagnosis:

Turn on the ignition switch, check whether the terminals are corroded or loose, and whether the wires have open circuit faults.

If necessary, repair it, otherwise, remove the sensor and install it on the oil pressure exceeds test bench to test the accuracy of its indication. If the difference exceeds 20%, the sensor should be replaced.
